The Star Hanabi is a Shen Gong Wu that was originally introduced as the Golden Star of Texas.
Characteristics[]
The Star Hanabi looks like an orange-brownish colored lone star with a ruby-looking circular gem at the center.
Abilities[]
- Pyrokinesis - When activated, it allows the user to release fire blasts at their opponents. It also has the ability to light dark places and glide over fire.
As seen in the episode Pandatown, the Star Hanabi can also temporarily blind an opponent; Panda Bubba demonstrated this by creating a flame vortex from the Wu in order to immobilize Kimiko, Clay, and Omi.
History[]
After Dojo and Dashi hid this Wu thousands of years ago, one of the people in the Bailey legacy must have found it and passed it down from generation to generation until it was in the possession of Clay's father. The family was completely unaware of the star's power. When the monks first came across the wu, Dojo slightly recognized it, but the monks did not realize it was the Star Hanabi until it revealed itself. It was later used most frequently by Kimiko as her signature Wu.
Did You Know...?[]
- The Japanese word "hanabi" (花火) translates to "firework" in English. This probably relates to the Wu's ability to shoot fire.
