The Shard of Lightning was a Shen Gong Wu that made the user faster.

Abilities

• Superhuman Speed - When this Shen Gong Wu was activated, it allowed the user to move at the speed of light, but only for short periods of time. The user moved so fast, that time appeared to freeze momentarily. 

According to Master Fung, "The powers of the Shard only last as long as the flash of lightning".

Interestingly, multiple people can use this Shen Gong Wu's power at the same time, so long as all users are each touching the Shard at the time of its activation. (The Shard of Lightning doesn't need to be continually held after its activation for its powers to affect the user(s).
