  • If you think that a card might be unknown as to rarity look at the bottom of the card for:

    ✪ = Premium ★ = Rare ✦ = Uncommon ● = Common

Alternatively if you can't see it check this list

    • First of all, you don't have to keep on repeating what I say. Two, I was looking at the cards on the pages themselves for the rarity. And for those that I could not clearly read and weren't on the list that I had in front of me, I made a judgment call and added that category temporarily with the intent of finding out the rarity of each card and in time, delete that category when the time called for it. I had completely forgotten about those pictures regarding those checklists so at the time, I did what I could to catch us up.

You may think the original post was to help me but I was the one who told you about the rarieties and where to find them on the cards so when you did that, it felt like a slap in the face. It also sent me the message that you need to check up on me like a little kid - I'm not a newbie at this. I knew what I was doing and if I had made a mistake, I would have corrected it but once again, at the time - I made a temporary solution.

Now, one last thing - I'm still dealing with a lot of problems here as you already know. I have the situation with Sandy still brewing, my family needing me every waking second, school has started back up and other problems so I only came back on a temporary basis and just putting the categories in was a simple job that I could handle periodically. But, if this is the way it's going to be with you checking up on me and telling me how to do things, then I don't see a point in staying because this isn't the 1st time. You and your other admins seem to have the situation under control, I don't get a lot of the things you have been doing anyway with the whole ATC thing (seems like a waste of time) and the whole over the top specific categories that the rest of you agreed on because I don't do voting on forums and such. The last time I voted on something here, I got outvoted because I was the only one against and everybody else was either for or neutral on it.

Look, I'm an older user - I'm not like you guys; the younger generation. It seems that maybe, I'm just not the right user for here anymore. Maybe I've done all that I can offer here and I need to leave while I'm ahead. In fact, that's probably the case - so, go ahead and remove my powers. I won't interfere here anymore - you have your own way of running things which is different than mine and I don't want to cause another problem.

      1. Actually the rulebook and checklist told me about the rarities.
      2. Age has nothing to do with how a community is run.
      3. The ATC is meant to improve quality of articles, similar to Bakugan Wiki's page rating system
      4. Voting is done so it's a consensus and not one person's decision.
      5. That checking up was done to keep you in-synch with the rest of the wiki.
      6. Your rights have been removed indefinitely.
      7. You can continue to contribute here if you wish to.

    • Look, I'm not saying the categories are a waste and in fact, I can see why they are needed. However, in my intrepretation and I'm sure in others as well - it is being specific that only those items/characters/anything belong in only those categories such as okay, only this Wu appeared in this show but it appeared here as well. But you need an overall category such as Xiaolin Showdown or Xiaolin Chronicles as well. I just think it's being well, "too-detailed" when it really only needs to be done for those certain Wu or characters that only appeared in that show such as Showdown. Because, I doubt that the snowman will be in Showdown so it makes sense to put him a category for Xiaolin Showdown Characters. However, for a Wu like the Orb of Tornami, it's in both shows so I think just putting it in the main categories for Showdown and Chronicles is clear enough. That's my personal view.

And just for the record, I'm not going to try forums because I've been gone for a while and I'm pretty sure I will get outvoted so there's no point in trying.

    • "too-detailed" is our goal as a wiki. We make sure everything is as detailed as can be. Shen Gong Wu that appear in both series, such as the Orb of Tornami get both Chronicles Wu and Showdown Wu categories.

  • Per our manual of style we write in the past tense rather than the present tense. With that in mind we also don't refer to the show itself. In other words we think of the series as a universe that has ceased to exist, retelling of it.

Examples: Raimundo is the Xiaolin Dragon in training promoted to Shoku Warrior at the end of the series is incorrect. The correct way would be: Raimundo was the Xiaolin Dragon of Wind in training, attaining Shoku Warrior rank first, becoming leader.

Chase Young was the main antagonist of the second and third seasons of Xiaolin Showdown. He debuted in Master Monk Guan (episode) is incorrect. The correct way would be: Chase Young was a renegade Xiaolin monk turned evil in exchange for superhuman strength and immortality. He first met the monks when Master Monk Guan traded Dojo for his Spear of Guan. Notice how we never mentioned the episodes or used present tense?

If you have more questions read up on all our Manual of style pages.

  • Category:Images of {{{1}}} is a category designed for galleries to be only on images. You'll notice that I shall be adding it a lot, so this is just a heads up.

  • While the show does have elements similar to an anime, it is not produced in japan and as such is a tv show. Would you mind using the term "Episodes" instead?
