Laws of Nature is the seventh episode of Xiaolin Chronicles. It premiered on October 5, 2013.
Overview[]
Chase Young discovers a weak link in the ecological order that, if manipulated properly, will cause a domino effect of cataclysmic destruction. Meanwhile, Jack’s mishaps causes Chase’s evil plan to backfire.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Chase Young telling Shadow how she was created.
In a city, the Xiaolins fight with Chase's feline minions. After defeating them, the monks notice a sheep surrounded by fire. After being saved by them, she suddenly changes into a giant frog, scaring the monks and causing them to run.
Back in Chase's cave, Shadow asks to use the power too, but Chase refuses to let her. During their bantering, Jack Spicer sneaks inside the cave. One of Chase's tigers notices Jack, causing him to scream.
Elsewhere, Raimundo, Omi and Clay can be seen fishing while Kimiko is sitting next to a tree and Dojo is sleeping. Omi, Raimundo, Clay, Kimiko, Dojo and Ping Pong are interrupted by flying frogs, dog-like rabbits and other animals.
Back in Chase's cave, the tiger brings Jack to Chase and Shadow. He manages to enter their "Evil Club" (as he calls it). While not looking, Jack eats the power and create major destruction in the world: ice melting, earthquakes, pyramids disappearing, etc. Jack notices what he did, and leaves the cave. Chase and Shadow notice, and now Chase is hunting for Jack.
Meanwhile, Dojo senses a new Shen Gong Wu. They reach the destination and meet with Chase and Shadow.
A Showdown starts between Shadow and Kimiko. In the end, Shadow wins, but she gives the Shen Gong Wu to Kimiko. They join forces to find Jack and undo the problems he caused.
They find Jack, and using a machine, Chase gets the power back out of Jack's belly. The episode ends with the natural disasters caused by Jack being fixed.
